DigitalBooster from the Digital-Professional-Series!

Amplification of the data formats Märklin-Motorola, mfx®, M4 and DCC.

The DigitalBooster DB-2 is a short circuit protected Power-Amplifier (Booster) for digital model railway layouts. It supplies a digital current of 2.5 Ampere.

The DB-2 shall be connected to the command station (e.g. Control Unit, Central Station 1 and 2, ECoS, Intellibox 1 and 2, TWIN-CENTER, Commander, EasyControl) or to another booster (e.g. DB-2, DB-4, 6015, 6017, Power 2, Power 3) with the supplied 5-poles booster-bus cable. The first booster shall be always directly connected to the command station via the 5-poles cable. The second booster shall be connected to the first booster etc.

Features of the DB-2

The DigitalBooster DB-2 amplifies the data formats Märklin-Motorola, mfx®, M4 and DCC.
The DB-2 can be connected to any command station which supports the 5-poles booster bus: Control Unit, Central Station 1 and 2, Intellibox 1 and 2, EasyControl, ECoS 1 and 2, Commander, DiCoStation, KeyCommander and TWIN-CENTER.
Each Power-Amplifier DB-2 will be supplied with a 5-poles boosterbus-cable (1m length).
For the supply of the DigitalBooster DB-2 are model railway transformers suitable with a capacity of min. 50VA and an alternating current of 16 to 18 Volt (e.g. from Conrad Electronic Part No. 404288 with 52VA / 18V).
LDT-Components from the Digital-Professional-Series can operate on your digital layout without any problems.
The finished module in a case comes with a 24 month warranty.
Each DigitalBooster DB-2 will be supplied with a detailed operating-/respectively assembly-instruction. Those instructions can be found within the next section.
You can purchase the DigitalBooster DB-2 as a kit (-B) or as a tested finished module in a case (-G). Suitable assembly material is available under Accessories.
